Union Minister Joshi Performs Ganesh Puja Himself in Traditional Attire, Like a Priest

Hubballi: The commercial city of Hubballi is now adorned with the grandeur of Ganesh festival. Union Minister Pralhad Joshi stood out today in this religious splendor of Ganesh Chaturthi.

He participated in the grand procession for the installation of the Ganpati idol at Hubballi’s Rani Chennamma Ground and offered the first prayer. MLA Mahesh Tenginkai and corporation members also accompanied him.

Ganesh Installation at Joshi’s Residence: As with every year, this year too, a Ganesh idol was installed at the Hubballi residence of Union Food Minister Pralhad Joshi on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Minister Joshi and all family members participated in the Ganesh puja, displaying their devotion.

The minister himself brought the Ganesh idol in a procession with drum-music accompaniment and installed it at his residence. Acting as a priest himself, the minister performed the ritual chants, offered sandalwood paste and rice grains, flower decorations, and the grand arati. He recited Ganesh hymns and sought the blessings of Vighneswara.

The minister also participated in the grand Ganesh festival celebration organized at Hubballi’s Rani Chennamma Ground, offering special prayers to Ganpati.

Minister Pralhad Joshi called upon all devotees to participate in the Ganesh festival that will be celebrated grandly at Rani Chennamma Ground for the next three days and seek the blessings of Ganesh, the remover of obstacles.
